The Center for Urban Policy and the Environment works in partnership with community leaders, business and civic organizations, nonprofits, and government. Using applied research, data analysis, and facilitation, Center analysts help leaders understand the critical choices facing them in public policy, healthcare, economic development, criminal justice, and land use. The Center supplies relevant, timely analysis to develop strategies that can strengthen organizations and improve the quality of life in communities. The Center was created by the Indiana University School of Public and Environmental Affairs in 1992.
