The Institute integrates public engagement and scholarship to address important issues facing Minnesota, the nation, and the world in a non-partisan setting. The Center for the Study of Politics and Governance plays a convening role, bringing academics and community leaders together for public decision-making and problem-solving and offering a wide array of public events and programs to promote an informed and engaged citizenry. The Center for Democracy and Citizenship develops citizenship initiatives around the concept of public work.
